Hi! So, I'm going to try this new thing called "digital journaling". As with all new things I try in January, it may not last long... hopefully I'm wrong. I found through Pinterest a website that has 365 journal prompts. Link to 365 Journal Prompts
So, since today is NOT the 1st, but the 9th, I will be starting on that!
My current favorite snack:
Well, I have to preface this with if I was writing this 2 weeks ago, my answer would be different. My husband and I have started a no-sugar/low-carb thing. My favorite snack RIGHT NOW would have to be spoon of peanut butter. (Shhh... I know it's sugar.) I have a crazy sweet tooth, and I've got to solve my cravings somehow. I like peanut butter with bananas, apples, and honey.
I've also been drinking a TON of green tea and honey. I've had a sore throat for a little while now, so this helps, and it helps to keep me full between meals. I do NOT like water, and I LOVE sweet tea. Green tea with honey will have to do for right now.
If I had been writing this post a few weeks back, I'd say my favorite snack was hummus and crackers. I really like hummus. I like the roasted red pepper kind I get from ALDI best! The garlic one is a little too much garlic for me. I've bought the black bean hummus from Sprouts, and it tastes more like Frito's bean dip to me, but my son LOVED it!
I guess I could still have hummus while on this horrible weight loss trip, but on what? It's not the same on a spoon (like peanut butter).
Weight as of starting this whole thing: 158lbs.
We'll see how this goes............
